consumption you will never see these
images despite the fact that they are
most frequent than you would
imagine animal equality conducted an
undercover investigation into India's
egg industry we visited 19 egg Farms
from the states of Maharashtra telengana
and Andra Pradesh we documented how it
is a common practice to cram four to
eight hens in a cage no bigger than two
A4 sheets of
papers because of these crammed
conditions hens often trample each other
in an attempt to find Space to
move the hen's claws are designed to
scratch vigorously and thus stay short
and blunt but because of the wired floor
of the cage their feet get sore cracked
and
deformed the overcrowded cages are sted
one top of another and the litter is
collected in huge piles underneath the
cages which is disposed of once every
few
weeks it's a common sight to see hens
suffering from feather loss abrasions
and skin irritations due to high
concentration of ammonia in the air
which comes from the piled up
litter there is little to no veterinary
care provided to the
hens
sick hands are left to die a slow
agonizing

death hens experience a wide range of
emotions they are social Birds capable
of solving complex problems just like a
human mother a hen is very maternal and
will aggressively protect her Young from
any Predators or
threats hands can communicate with
chicks while they are still incubating
inside the egg yet we choose to subject
these intelligent and emotionally
intelligent birds to a life of
