hidden inside these giant windowless
sheds a half a million Birds locked
inside crowded metal cages their eggs
are sold under the big and fresh brand
in UK supermarkets yes
they will never breathe fresh air feel
some height or stand on solid ground at
just 16 weeks old they're locked in this
cage for life the brutal conditions
quickly take that all after only a few
months many shows severe feather loss
and red raw skin in these cramped
unnatural conditions the hens become
frustrated some suffer painful wounds
inflicted by cage mates but they can't
get away death is the only escape for
these birds
