Brandenburg
Gate in

the company
align its
US practices

German
standards
by banning
the use
of cages
for hens
and pregnant
pigs in its
supply chain
within
the US.
We have
turned up
the heat
from grand
openings
to local
stores.
we made sure
customers
are aware
of the abuse
that Aldi
continues
to allow.
Through
our legal
advocacy
efforts.
We collaborated
with decision
makers
worldwide
to strengthen
animal protection laws
and held
violators
accountable,
directly,
helping
17.7 million
animals.
We pursued
legal action
against
several
entities
involved
in farmed
animal abuse.
These private
criminal
complaints
serve a dual
purpose
bringing
justice
to animals
and raising
public
awareness
about cruelty
to farmed
animals.

supporting
the Safe act,
a crucial
piece of
legislation
that could
end the
exploitation
of horses
from the US for slaughter.
The UK passed
a historic
law banning
live animal
exports
for fattening
or slaughter,
ending
decades
of animal
suffering.
This milestone
concludes 50
years of
campaigning
by animal
protection
groups
such as
animal
Equality
and our
most impactful
achievement yet.
We changed
the Mexican
Constitution,
ensuring
that all
animals
in Mexico
will be
protected
nationwide.
