hi everyone my name is
to take the animal equality 21 day plant
power challenge so basically in this
challenge i will be there on a
plant-based diet for 21 days
[Music]
so basically i'm from a south indian
family i'm a canadian
i was born into a vegetarian family so
meat-eating was never an option but then
there was a shoot for which i had to
lose around 7 to 10 kgs and that time
ketogenic diet or keto diet was a fad so
i started consuming meat i consumed
everything one can find under the roof i
mean
like mutton chicken eggs pie or soup i
had i had everything but what i realized
eventually was that it was not sitting
very well with me
so i was consuming it and i did it for
around six eight months which was a good
enough time for me to understand that
this is not really working for me i lost
the weight that's true
but then i was not feeling good about my
day
and that's when i understood that let me
go on a vegan diet and see
how does it fail
for me you know how does it go for me
and that's when i understood that i was
feeling much lighter once i went to
vegan
i was feeling um
like whatever i was eating was sitting
well with my body i was feeling active
and especially for my field
i think we have to have like a proper
planned diet and at that point i felt
that plant-based diet
really worked well for me and my family
in fact a couple of friends also started
following i was so much into it that i
opened a smoothie cafe
and it's a cloud kitchen actually now we
are going to start a cafe but at that
point it was all uh with the plant-based
milks like almond milk cashew oat milk
and coconut milk we were all making it
fresh in our kitchen and we just got to
know that there were a lot of takers
especially now in this time and i think
yeah that's why that's the reason for me
going vegan so i received this beautiful
hamper
which has all meat alternatives dairy
alternatives but because i am a
vegetarian now and i need dairy
alternatives more than anything
i'm going to start with this
it's almost the same i think
i think if you mix it with salt or
something you wouldn't really come to
know the difference this is soy curd
it's honestly pretty good
now if you move too
i'll consume ghee a little later let's
start with butter
[Music]
absolutely the same
and i think
absolutely the same honestly i can't
tell the difference
and i can't eat normal batter like this
but this one i think it has spices and
views so
this is much better
so the only thing that i really struggle
in my diet and something i'm really fond
of is ghee
so i'm going to start i'm going to try
this plant-based ghee let's see how do i
like it
it is a bit different
i mean i don't think so i can consume it
directly but i think
mixed with roti or dal or something else
that you apply it on i don't think so
you'll be able to tell the difference
much but there is a slight difference i
like the curd and the butter better
butter better it's like
a tongue twister
this is chada cheese
plant-based of course so
really good
really good i just wish i had a
piece of bread right now
to go along with it but really really
nice
so now finally for some dessert
this looks like some case of pista ice
cream i like the color of it let's see
if i like the taste
definitely a winner
i can't really make out except for the
game
i can't really make out that i'm eating
something which is plant-based because
plant-based usually people think it
stays less it does not
it's not exciting
and
like people say
cartoon types but i don't think so
anybody can make out the difference
except for ghee which i felt was a
little different
but the ice cream is even official
finally
chocolate milk
cashew milk
good again i don't know what else to say
it's really good
[Music]
can't make out the difference in any of
this i hope that this little video

only to save our environment our health
